Benefits of the Service

How can the service work with my alphanumeric or 2-way pager?
If your alphanumeric or 2-way pager has an email address, by signing up with EmailRemote, you can receive notification on your pager that a new email has arrived in you email account. Then you can use your mobile phone to retreive the full message, reply to the message, even delete or forward the message.

How much does EmailRemote service cost?

$14.95 per year. That's less than $1.25 per month.

How It Works

What requirements are there for using EmailRemote?
You must have a wireless device with a working email address. In most cases, that means a mobile phone with text messaging. It can also be used with a pager or wireless PDA that has a working email address (in combination with a phone). The only other requirement is that you have an email account. EmailRemote is compatible with most pop3 compliant and Internet Service Provider email systems.

What is the coverage area in which I will receive notifications?
The coverage area is determined by the area in which the device you have registered with EmailRemote can receive an email message. For almost all major North American mobile phone service providers, this coverage area is effectively nationwide.

How many notifications can a subscriber receive?
Subscriber usage of the EmailRemote service is unlimited. A subscriber will receive notifications for any new emails received while the notification service is turned on.
